Hatem Nadim

Pianist Hatem Nadim was born in Cairo, Egypt. At the age of ten he enrolled at the Cairo Conservatoire, where he studied solo piano and graduated with honors. Later, as a music scholarship winner at the University at Frankfurt (Germany), he continued his post-graduate studies in chamber music and vocal accompaniment, where he earned his degree. From 1989 to 1996 he was a piano faculty member at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. In 1989, he accepted a position at the University of Music in Mannheim, where his responsibilities included those of collaborative pianist, chamber music coach, and piano accompaniment teacher. From 2006-2015, Mr. Nadim served as staff accompanist at California State University in Fresno while also joining the faculty of Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California from 2013-2015.
Throughout his career, Mr. Nadim has had extensive chamber music experience with a repertoire that includes everything from Baroque to contemporary music and many premier performances of newly published works to his credit. He has also been, or continues to be, a faculty member for the following music festivals:
“Vielsaitig” Music festival in Füssen, Germany since 2002.
“FOOSA” Music festival in Fresno,CA since 2012.
“Lingua e canto” summer festival in Sant’Angelo in Vado, Italy 2014-2016.
“Opera academy of California” summer academy in San Francisco, CA 2012-2013.
